Catalyst Managerial Services (CMS) is a global project development and management services company with a track record over 15 years. The Firm originated in Australia with an innovative business model of using only world-class industry experts and highly experienced senior managers for client service delivery, under the leadership of the founder, Mr. Zia Q Qureshi.

It was one of the first specialist Firms in the world to capture strategic work at chairman, board and CEO level of the largest multinational companies and leading government organisations, a market that was tightly controlled by the large international consulting firms.

Catalyst developed a highly effective business development approach and a relationship network comprising leading chairmen and senior executives.

Catalyst undertook some of the most strategic work for the largest corporations and government agencies in Australia and later, on a number of projects of national importance for China.

• Well positioned for participating in rebuilding / development of Libya

Around 2007, Catalyst expanded operations into the Middle East and Libya. In Libya, Catalyst won a large 5-year management services contract valued at US$100 million for one of Libya’s investment organisations. The services provided included placement of an entire management team and corporate development. A comprehensive strategy was developed for industry development and investments of US$30 billion. In addition, project origination, business development and implementation services on these projects would have attracted significant additional revenues.

Following the Libyan crisis, Catalyst supported the National Transition Council through considerable advisory work. Pending payment of large outstanding invoices from Libya, Catalyst is looking to re-establish full scale operations in the region.
